Gininet events

Introduction

Sessions in Gininet must be scheduled so we can provide you the best service possible at the best rates possible.

Based on your needs, you can create a Simple Broadcast, an Interactive Session with a Broadcast option or a Conference with a Broadcast option. Gininet supports the following event types:

Simple Broadcast

code: "SB"

In this session type, the Presenter publishes one stream and up to 10000 viewers, those with NI or TC tickets can watch it. Presenter and TC ticket holders can text chat too.
Usage: Events that don't favour or don't need any level of interactivity. For example: Concerts, Sport events...
Used by: Professional production teams, Video bloggers, Content creators...

Publish stream in: RTMP/WebRTC

Ticket types: NI, TC

Interactive Session/Broadcast

code: "IB"

In this Interactive session, the Presenter can publish one or two streams (Audio-Video + Screenshare) using WebRTC. Up to 15 AV ticket holders can indicate when they want to interact. The Presenter is then able to select the AV ticket holders to interact with, one at a time.
This conversation can be broadcast to up to 10000 TC and NI ticket holders simultaneously. Presenter and TC ticket holders can text chat too.
Usage: Session that may involve taking real-time audio-video or text-chat questions from the audience. Example:Broadcasting interviews.
Used by: Professional production teams, Video bloggers, Life coaches, Professional services (solicitors, accountants...)

Ticket types: NI, TC, AV

Conference Session/Broadcast

code: "CB"

In a Conference session, the Presenter and up to 15 AV ticket holders publish one stream using WebRTC.
This conversation can be broadcast to up to 10000 TC and NI ticket holders. Presenter and TC ticket holders can text chat too.
Usage: Conference that may need to be broadcast
Used by: Any organisation

Explanation of ticket types

NI
Ticket type: Non-Interactive

This ticket enables the ticket holder to attend a broadcast without interacting.

TC
Ticket type: Text-Chat Interactive

This ticket enables the ticket holder to attend a broadcast and interact using a text-chat interface.

AV
Ticket type: Audio-Video Interactive

This ticket enables the ticket holder to attend a broadcast and interact using Audio and Video.
